New Brunswick Releases a Primary Health Care Framework
 

On August 8, 2012, the Government of New Brunswick released A Primary Health Care Framework for New Brunswick which outlines a long-term vision for the province’s health care and advances several recommendations including:

  • Strengthening the integration of health care services
  • Establishing family health teams
  • Creating a patient voices network to increase patient involvement and enhance patient-centred care
  • Establishing an electronic medical records system.
